The Reformer and Possibly the Cutest Animal on Earth

I teach mat-based contrology, as I enjoy being able to get a strength workout in without any bells and whistles. But Joseph Pilates is famous in part for cobbling together an ingenious exercise device from an old hospital bed during his WWI internment in Great Britain. I often start my day with 2 hours of audio news feeds streaming in the background. Perhaps this barrage of bad news demands some sort of counterbalance, and hence I also spend a little time each week culling Facebook and other sites for pictures of cute animals. This week’s animal find may be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Behold the momonga, Japan’s dwarf flying squirrel. Be prepared to say “aaaawww!”
